Built for Comfort

Built for Comfort

This Swindon based band emerged from the remnants of Hot Tamales last year. All five members have played a bit so this is an experienced outfit. The main thrust of their style is Chicago blues covering classics from the likes of Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon and Little Walter etc.

The rhythm section is very solid with tasteful guitar and harp filling any gaps. This band certainly has a good solid sound, playing covers throughout but damn good quality ones. Flicky Harrison of the Swindon Evening Advertiser says, "If you listen to these Bluesmen - their set is full of high octane energy and fun all the way." Any crowd would love their style and their feel and treatment of songs including: Shake It Up And Go, Route 66, Cross Eyed Cat, Blow Wind Blow, and of course Built For Comfort.
