Exploring the space where infectious grooves meet dynamic improvisation, and where experiences in jazz, Balkan, African and contemporary classical music collide, Blue Print eliminate conventional barriers to create a seamless and integrated sound. Melody and rhythm are the focus here, as the musicians weave in and out of each composition with ease. Sounds are explored, and these musicians play to the limits of their instruments, with an array of mutes, half valve squeals and on occasion, electronics, using the resonance of the double-bass body, harmonies, and with a barrage of percussion.

However, Blue Print is not an overly post-modern, super-eclectic fad, melody remains a priority, and these seemingly disparate influences are integrated into watertight improvisational concepts.
