Bite-Back

Bite-Back play classic, earthy R'n'B with abundant energy and quality musicianship, as their debut album "Promised Land" ably demonstrates.
The band is : Simroy Harvey, guitar and lead vocals; John Bower, bass and backing vocals; Les Travers, percussion; and Mick Townley, keyboard and backing vocals. The present line-up has been together for two and a half years, but their association goes back a lot further. Under the moniker of 'Snakebite' they toured and recorded extensively during the seventies. Since then they have all played with numerous bands in Europe, the US and the London rock/R'n'B circuit.

The band prefer to play their original material but are not averse to including a couple of classic cover versions.
Rolling boogie-woogie piano, fine slide guitar, an explosive rhythm section, and compelling vocals all contribute to a raw and immediate sound.
