Possibly the most mis-spelt band on the local circuit, Los Yanquis play a mix of Alt-Country, Tex-mex and Blues, all danceable, watchable stuff. The core of the band go back over twenty years to the early days of Bristol pub-rock, and were known originally as Juan Foote 'n' the Grave, then later, The Losenges. They perform songs by the likes of Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam and the Texas Tornados, plus the odd classic from the country vaults.
